Development Voting

Bronze members can place one vote (one vote, don’t ask for more!) against proposed developments that have a status of “voting” below. This is a way that Bronze member users of WP Symposium can decide on what get’s prioritised in terms of development.

You can change your vote whenever you want, and when a development item gets moved “into development”, your vote is removed and you can vote again.

Finally, I will act as “gatekeeper” for what gets added to the list, this will avoid the list getting unrealistically long and unmanageable. It’s a power thing…! ;)

Some tickets won’t involve much development time and some features will be picked up during the course of support, and so I reserve the right add other items into releases that aren’t listed and/or drop some tickets into development even if they are not winning on votes.

The following have not yet been committed (or the list above will get far too long), but will be added as workload allows. They are in no particular order.

• Bulk mail to groups
• Add entire list of members of a group to group page
• Improve content of reporting post, replies, topics, etc to include more useful information
• Check out TinyMCE paste plugin (to limit pasting from external apps like Word)
• Order activity based upon recent replies as well
