Hi @simon, 

I really like the design of the search, and I love that it has an auto-complete feature.

However,

I think its actual "searching" ability, is a bit poor. - in the future it would be really nice to have a bit more of an "inteligant" search box. - for example, if a user is called "gymlads" and I type "lads" it displays nothing, it doesn't have the ability to recognise those letters, if that makes sense? 

Another problem is, If a site develops into a large member based site, searching for a specific member, vs members with the same name, similar names, etc, it would be difficult to pull a specific user.

I think it would be great if it could possibly, first, search through your CONFIRMED friends, then search through friends of friends, then widen the parameters.

This would (I think) - greatly improve the search feature and hopefully speed it up, (as it wouldn't need to search the whole member database straight away)
