Hi @aboveandbelow, nice looking site you have. That sounded a bit like Yoda....  
I'll answer as a list, apologiesfor my brevity, but hope it helps:

1. You can add styles to WPS via Admin->Styles->CSS


2. Which profile links do you mean as list instead of vertical, is that not the same?


3. Rename your Groups page as Tribes, make the slug stribes (re-visit Installation page, important), and change your menu to match.


4. Funnily enough I'm adding member-focussed widgets this week...


5. The login box on this site (home page) is custom built. I try and add as a tutorial when time permits...


6. You could handle staff links by extending WordPress, it's not really a WPS function


7. WPS is compatible with CubePoints, I find it very good. There are also forum ranks, titles for activity, and obvious things like number of forum posts, replies, etc availble.


8. The menu is WordPress, there are many plugins available, check these out.

1. i know but i just carnt get it sitting right, buttons text blocks etc all look wrong

2. i mean (profile - community settings) and i ment horizontal lol

3. i changed slug an title etc already, but i mean everything called group, does this have a language pack i can change?

oh i also need help with the following

This plugin is effecting my themes footer and moves it hard left

Also some of the styling is not working (buttons for example) i think my theme is overiding it, so i need to know how to make your plugin styles overide my theme just for its own pages

I would also like to be able to turn off all the search bars on your plugin, i have my own search bar and a plugin which will search everything on my site so your search bars just waste space

general styling is no longer an issue as i have decided to go light with my theme

i also wondered if the events would be getting a fb event importer and actuall sitewide calendar added to them oh an a reacurring event setting, i currently use modern tribes plugin but its bloated an irratating


Tbh i just want to get my site working the way i want it, and its been taking to long due to *** plugins mainly buddypress, this plugin seems as close to how i want the members area so i just need a little help getting it sorted, soon as it is i will be purchasing your subscribtion ( which is awesome how it works try befor eu buy thing)

and can i ask is there any plans for a better subscribtion more features etc



 

Other than wps all my other plugin load times are more than good, and my theme was built to be compatable with buddypress but not for it, this theme will work quite happy on its own,

and i am using 1 site not multi site 

On "and can i ask is there any plans for a better subscribtion more features etc", if I understand you right, there are no plans other than at present, ie:

• Free (use what you want, try before you buy, etc), but possibly with a polite banner


• Bronze (removes the polite banner if you are using a "Bronze" plugin


• Silver (does not include Bronze, it's a top up for personal support from the developer via a helpdesk)

when i say gold i mean like extra widgets better profiles etc just generally more advanced features in both style and functionality

Hi @aboveandbeyond - no, there is nothing like that as such. WPS has to attempt to keep the majority happy, so "uber" (if I can say that...) complex queries will slow sites down. If you're looking for something particular then there are probably two ways to go about it:

1. Purchase custom development (not cheap, obviously but tailor made for you and unique)
2. Suggest some ideas and I'll add to voting page to prioritise (always love new ideas!) 

For option 1, the cost could be negotiated if you are happy it goes back into the core WPS product. If you want to retain intellectual property and have a unique feature, obviously the cost is not as cheap. Sorry, damn the need to pay for all this!!
