Admin Guide and Videos

• Work on the admin guide continues as a background task, latest version (PDF) available here.
• I’ve added a couple of videos on the WP Symposium YouTube channel – I’ll continue to add more.

Security patch

Header filters

Added filters for top of profile, member directory, group, forum categories and forum topic. For an example, see the tutorial.

Specify a category in forum shortcode

Added option to specify forum category using [symposium-forumlatestposts] shortcode. More information available in the draft user admin guide.

Unique display names and usernames

When checking for unique display name, now avoids checking user’s own user login name.

WPS Permalinks

Testing continues, with the addition of permalinks for the member profile pages (eg: http://www.example.com/profile/simon).
