Release code name: Guillaume
This is a patch release following v12.04.21 – it fixes a couple of bugs identified.
We have corrected one bug in the display of Extended Fields on Profile Details. They now show even when empty at the Profile Details section of users’ profile pages, that may be handy whenever they wish to fill these fields with data…
We also modified the way slugs are managed: it’s no longer necessary to fill the slug of a new Extended Field, if left empty (or to its default value of “New Slug”), as it will be generated from the name. Of course, it’s always better if you keep your hand on the slug, esp. when you expect to use it from somewhere else in your site using get_user_meta and ‘symposium_extended_<slug>’
We found a bug which may have sit there for a while, although it came to light only with last release: on other users’ Profile pages, the first menu entry of the list on the left, “Profile”, wasn’t showing anymore.
Finally, a fix has been added to ensure the Members Directory is compatible with the s2 Members plugin.
Regards,
Simon and AlphaGolf

Saving...
Hey Simon,
What a great program! (I’m not gonna call it simply a plugin).
Thought you might want to know I found a problem with 12.04.24 not getting along with Theme My Login, v 6.1.4, and more specifically, the “Enable Themed Profiles” switch in the “General” “Modules” portion of TML. I’m running WP 3.3.2. When the “Enable Themed Profiles” switch is on in TML, changes to Symposium Extended Fields on the (WP, now TML) Profile Page, do not take. (They do not save). Checked all the same, running Symposium 12.03.10, WP 3.3.2, and TML 6.1.4, and all the functionality works. I’m nowhere near as skilled as you, but I am thinking the Symposium DB table integration to WP is somewhere on the same planet as the problem? Again, great program dude! J R
